My Beginnings
My name is Helma Fernandez. I am the artist and owner of Jersey Driftwood art. Growing up in the Netherlands, I was very much exposed to all types of creativity, such as knitting, crocheting, painting etc. However, as a child I already discovered my desire to work with wood. Then life happened and work got in the way of my passion.
My Favorite Work
Creating fun and beautiful art with driftwood turned out to be my true passion. Every piece of driftwood wood is unique, and therefore the end result is always unpredictably beautiful. Driftwood home decor creations tend to put a smile on people's faces.
My Life Today
I'm very lucky to finally be doing what I love to do in my "reinvented" career. Woodworking allows me to use my creativity to the fullest and to meet interesting people all the time. I hope you love my art as well.
